  2. Hi there, my name is Sarah, from Aden & currently staying in Jeddah, S.A. I’d say that my cake decorating level is intermediate. As one of my best friend’s nieces wedding is approaching I plan on making a stunning wedding cake using gold leaves as the main decoration. Hopefully with this cake I would gain many new customers. This is because we don’t have gold & silver edible food colors in my country so I’ll be the first to use them and it will leave a great impact on the guests. ^_^

  5. Hi, I am Colleen, from Queensland, Australia.
I would say I am an artist who dabbles in cake art, not quite a baker (although I do make everything from scratch) – almost a cake decorator – not “professional” – but would one day like to be 🙂
The way *I* see it… if I can be paid for my creativity through cakes, then that would bring together both of my loves, art and cake.
My FB page has some 726 likers, I don’t know where they all came from, but I am really grateful!

I have baked our family’s cakes and wedding cakes “forever” but recently decided to take it to the next level and am filling orders and just completed my first paid wedding. In addition to all of that, I also recently entered my first competition – I will include a copy of my cake. The judges didn’t get my out-of-the-box thinking and opted for a in-the-box cake but that doesn’t discourage me.
